Principals Report – Term 3 Week 3

Dear Seville Primary School Community,

I am thrilled to share with you the exciting news that our new multipurpose court is now complete and looking absolutely stunning. This fantastic addition to our school will provide a wonderful space for our students to engage in a variety of sports and physical activities, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle. The vibrant design and excellent craftsmanship truly stand out, making it a focal point for our school grounds. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of many individuals donating their time to raise funds over the last couple of years! A heartfelt thank you goes out to our parents, staff, students, and community members who contributed their time and effort. Your support and commitment to enhancing our school environment are deeply appreciated.

As we continue to improve our school, we have an upcoming working bee scheduled for Sunday, 18th August. This is a great opportunity for us to come together and further beautify our school grounds. We encourage everyone to join us for a productive and enjoyable day. This will commence at 9:30am, with a number of amazing projects to be completed. Marc Duncan (from our School Council) will continue to communicate through his channels on what to expect.

We are proud to support the Loneliness Awareness Campaign. In conjunction with the community house, we will be hosting a coffee and catch-up session on the coloured squares this afternoon. This event aims to bring people together, fostering a sense of community and connection. This is an open invite to all members of our community!

Our new fundraising campaign is also kicking off with the much-loved old school chocolate drive, organised by our school council. This initiative helps fund essential programs and resources for our students. If you are unable to participate in the chocolate drive, please head to this link and let us know by Wednesday.

Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. Together, we are making Seville Primary School a vibrant and nurturing place for our children to learn and grow.

Warm regards,

Chris Dossor
Principal, Seville Primary School
