Welcome to the Seville Primary School Community!​

Seville Primary School is a distinctive and picturesque learning community, grounded in a strong commitment to academic excellence and student wellbeing. Sitting atop the hill in the heart of Seville Township, the school enjoys sweeping views of the surrounding valley farmlands and ranges. Our spacious seven-acre grounds provide students with room to explore and play, supporting engagement, focus, and readiness to learn. With playgrounds, basketball courts, an oval, and shaded grassed areas, we foster a balanced approach to learning that values both academic achievement and an active lifestyle.

With a proud history spanning more than 140 years, Seville Primary School has long served the local community. We honour our past and Wurundjeri heritage while maintaining a clear focus on high-quality teaching and learning for every student. Close connections with local families, businesses, community groups, early childhood centres, and sporting clubs enrich learning through authentic experiences and shared responsibility for student success. The planned opening of an on-site kindergarten in 2027 will further strengthen continuity in learning and support strong foundations from the earliest years.

Our committed staff deliver high-quality teaching, tailoring learning to meet the needs of every child. With a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, alongside a carefully designed integrated curriculum, students are challenged to think deeply, build knowledge, and take ownership of their learning. Access to modern resources and technologies supports effective teaching practices and the development of curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills.

We offer specialist programs in Physical Education, Art, Science, Performing Arts, Sustainability, and Auslan, with Auslan taught as a second language from Foundation to Year 6. These programs broaden learning and strengthen engagement, while our outdoor vegetable garden provides hands-on learning opportunities that connect curriculum knowledge with real-world application through school kitchen cooking sessions.
