Volunteering

At Seville Primary School, volunteers are a valued and important part of our school community, contributing to the learning, wellbeing, and connectedness of our students. We warmly welcome parents, carers, grandparents, and community members to support in classrooms, excursions, events, kitchen and garden programs, and a range of activities that enrich student learning experiences.

In line with Department of Education requirements, all volunteers must hold a current Working with Children Check prior to commencing any volunteering. Volunteers are also required to refer to the Parent Volunteer Induction Pack and ensure they are familiar with the Volunteer Induction Booklet, including the School Code of Conduct, before beginning any volunteering activities. This ensures a shared understanding of expectations, roles, and responsibilities, and supports a safe, respectful, and consistent environment for all students.

We greatly appreciate the time, care, and connection our volunteers bring, strengthening our sense of community and supporting students to grow and learn together.

To Complete your Induction;

• Please read our Volunteer Induction Booklet
• Sign and return the following documents;
  • Volunteer OHS Induction Checklist
  • Code of Conduct
• Present a current WWCC to the school office.
